Capitanes achieved a new attendance record

Mexico City, November 10, 2023 – Capitanes de la Ciudad de México returned to the Arena CDMX to debut in the 2023-24 NBA G League season.

The Mexico City team surprised with the first victory of the season, beating Osceola Magic 108-97.
Capitanes not only took the win, it also achieved a new attendance record with 16,178 people at the CDMX Arena for its opening night.

Juan Toscano, Trey Burke, and Ethan Thompson were responsible for leading the team during its first game. The Mexican contributed 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists; Burke 22 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist; while Thompson was the leading scorer with 25 points, 6 assists, and 5 rebounds.
