Capitanes acquire returning players rights to Matt Mooney

Mexico City, October 12, 2021 - Mexico City Capitanes have acquired the returning player rights to Matt Mooney in a trade with Raptors 905. In return, Capitanes are sending their 2022-23 NBA G League Draft first-round pick.
Matt Mooney (born February 7, 1997, in Chicago, Illinois) played college basketball at Texas Tech. He joined the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019 Summer League, and then he signed a two-way contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played four games in the 2019-20 regular season.
Capitanes will tip off the NBA G League 2021-22 season on the road against the Memphis Hustle on November 5 at Landers Center.
